It really makes no sense whatsoever, and yet people somehow believe that they deserve free healthcare, and they love the concept of someone else paying for it. If it doesn't have the money, it has to tax us to get it, or it has to borrow it from a foreign governments and investors, or our government has to print that money. Now then, all of these are problematic because if the government taxes us they are taking our money therefore, healthcare that they provide us is obviously not free. If they borrow money from a foreign government they have to pay that money back with interest, and it will be the American taxpayer that pays that interest.
Finally, if the government prints money, that causes inflation, and that means the dollars that you have today will be worth less in the future. Well, might I suggest to you that you deserve it because you voted for free healthcare, and if you'll recall the quote above; "there is no such thing as a free lunch."
